Family members, Islamic clerics, members of the Muslim community, friends, political associates, and well wishers today gathered in solemn reflection for the 3 Day Fidau prayer of the late DSP Abubakar Suleiman (Rtd.), father of QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman.
The prayer session commenced at exactly 11:30 am at the family residence of the deceased in Igecheba, Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State. The atmosphere was calm and reverent as Islamic scholars led supplications, Quranic recitations, and prayers for the repose of the soul of the late retired officer.
Clerics offered special prayers, asking Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al Jannatul Firdaus, and reward his years of service and dedication. They also prayed for strength, patience, and unity for the family during this period of mourning, particularly in the blessed month of Ramadan.
The gathering drew sympathizers from within and outside Idah, reflecting the impact the late DSP Abubakar Suleiman had on his community and beyond. Attendees described him as a disciplined officer, devoted family man, and respected elder whose legacy of service will not be forgotten.

He prayed that Almighty Allah rewards them abundantly for their kindness and grants everyone journey mercy back to their various destinations.
