The Forum of Pastors Political Movement (FPPM) has formally endorsed the senatorial aspiration of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Kogi East, Hon. QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, describing him as a leader of proven capacity, integrity, compassion, and commitment to the development of the people.

The endorsement was made during a courtesy visit by the Forum to the GRA residence of Hon. QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman in Idah on Saturday, August 2, 2026. The delegation, led by the President of the Forum, Apostle E.O. Jeremiah, presented its message of support on behalf of pastors and Christian leaders from the nine Local Government Areas of Kogi East.

Speaking during the visit, Apostle Jeremiah said the Forum was gathered not merely as religious leaders but as custodians of conscience, voices of the people, and watchmen over the land. He noted that after carefully observing QS Aminu’s humanitarian interventions, professional accomplishments, and leadership qualities, the Forum was convinced that he possesses the character and competence required to provide purposeful representation for Kogi East in the Senate.

Quoting Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice,” Apostle Jeremiah prayed that the emergence of QS Aminu would usher in a new era of progress, unity, and prosperity for Kogi East.

The Forum thereafter declared its full support for the ADC candidate and pledged to mobilize its congregations across the district to pray, participate in the electoral process, and support his candidacy. It also assured that while supporting him, the pastors would continue to hold him accountable to the ideals of integrity, transparency, and selfless service.
