AJAKA, Kogi State | October 19, 2026

Rural road projects embarked upon by QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, FNIQS, ADC Kogi East Senatorial Candidate, and Chief Pharmacist Peter Yakubu Iduh, ADC House of Representatives Candidate for Idah Federal Constituency, were flagged off today in Ajaka, headquarters of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The two candidates were represented at the event by Kogi East Youth Coordinators Kamar Olachene and Ahmedi Attah, who attended the flag off on their behalf.
The initiative highlights the importance of rural road infrastructure in improving community connectivity, supporting agricultural activities and facilitating the movement of people and goods across the area.
For farming communities, accessible roads are essential to transporting agricultural produce from farms to markets, reducing transportation difficulties and supporting local economic activities. Improved road connectivity also helps residents reach essential services and strengthens links between rural settlements and commercial centres.
The flag off in Ajaka brings attention to rural infrastructure as an important component of community development in Igalamela/Odolu and the wider Kogi East Senatorial District.
The projects, embarked upon by QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman and Chief Pharmacist Peter Yakubu Iduh, are intended to address road access challenges and improve mobility for residents along the benefiting routes.
As work progresses, the impact of the interventions will be measured by improvements in road accessibility, ease of movement and the opportunities created for farmers, traders and other road users.
