ANYIGBA, Kogi State — In a move aimed at strengthening grassroots political engagement and voter awareness ahead of the forthcoming elections, the QS Aminu/Sheikh Door-to-Door Mobilization Group on Saturday held a sensitization meeting in Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The meeting brought together members and supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to strategize on expanding grassroots outreach and consolidating support for the party’s candidates across Kogi East.

Speaking during the gathering, the group’s leader, Comrade Abdullahi Hamza, emphasized the importance of direct engagement with voters, describing door-to-door mobilization as one of the most effective means of communicating the party’s vision and connecting with constituents at the community level.

According to him, the group’s primary objective is to mobilize support for QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, FNIQS, the ADC candidate for Kogi East Senatorial District, and Dr. Sheik Ibrahim Jibrin, the ADC candidate for Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives election.

Hamza noted that the initiative was established to serve as a grassroots platform dedicated to voter education, political sensitization, and community engagement, while promoting the leadership credentials, vision, and development agenda of both candidates.

He urged members to remain committed to peaceful and issue-based political engagement, stressing the need to reach every ward, polling unit, and community across the constituency through sustained interactions with residents.
