Members of the Iko’jo Support Group from Igala-Ogba paid a Sallah and appreciation visit to the Kogi East Senatorial Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, FNIQS, in a show of gratitude, solidarity, and support for his senatorial ambition.

The group stated that the visit was aimed at appreciating the ADC flag bearer for his past intervention in fixing their previously dilapidated road, a gesture they described as impactful and unforgettable to the community.

According to the group, the road project brought relief and improved accessibility for residents of the area, thereby strengthening the bond between the people and QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman.

The women further recalled that their fathers, uncles, and husbands had earlier visited the senatorial candidate to express appreciation for the road project shortly after its completion, noting that their own visit during the Sallah celebration was a continuation of that appreciation and an opportunity to congratulate him on his emergence at the just concluded ADC senatorial primary election.

Speaking during the gathering, Hon. Danasebe, a House of Assembly candidate under the platform of the ADC, used the opportunity to sensitize the women on the ideology, vision, and political direction of the African Democratic Congress, urging them to remain steadfast and committed to the party’s mission of good governance, grassroots development, and inclusive representation.

Also speaking, the Woman Leader, Mrs. Rose Asibi Matthew, appreciated members of the group for the visit and their continued support toward the ADC project.

She equally sensitized the women on the need for unity, active participation, and sustained grassroots mobilization for the success of the party and its candidates in the forthcoming general election.

In his response, QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, FNIQS, thanked the Iko’jo Support Group and the women of Igala-Ogba for the visit, prayers, and show of appreciation.

He assured them that his commitment to community development, people-oriented leadership, and the overall progress of the Igala Kingdom and Kogi East remains unwavering.
