My Dear Igala/Bassa People,
This is what I mean by Responsive Legislation in my just released manifesto, The People’s Mandate.
It means having a people centred legislative agenda that listens to your concerns and translates them into laws, policies and effective oversight.
My priorities include education, healthcare, agriculture, employment, youth empowerment and fair access to federal opportunities. Through legislation, budget scrutiny and engagement with relevant government institutions, I will advocate practical solutions to the challenges facing our people.
I will also pursue accountability in the implementation of federal programmes and public expenditure, while promoting regular consultations and public reports on my legislative activities.
My commitment is simple: to listen to you, represent your interests, pursue solutions and report back to you.
This is representation with responsibility, legislation with purpose and accountability to the people.
